​​​​​​​Bogdan Tomashevsky is a Ukrainian artist and sculptor. He was born in 1986 in Uzhhorod, Ukraine. In 2010, he graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture in Kyiv. In his artistic practice, he works with clay, metal, and natural materials. He creates art installations, public art sculptures, and art objects with a focus on ecological themes. He participates in Ukrainian and international exhibitions and residencies.

2023: Participation in the exhibition "Art and Life in Times of War" with funding from the Ministry of Science, Research, and the Arts of Baden-Württemberg, Stuttgart, Germany.
2023: Scholarship from the Kunstfonds of the Bürgerstiftung Stuttgart: 3 months.
2022: Scholarship within the program "Mediation Platform for Ukrainian Artists and Cultural Workers" by the Goethe-Institut in collaboration with the organization "Artists at Risk," a 6-month scholarship was received. Stuttgart, Germany.
2019: Was chosen among other young artists by Port Agency to participate in Sculpture Camp and got a scholarship for creation of Contemporary Sculpture in Edem Resort, Lviv, Ukraine.
2016: Winner in the open competition for the creation of a mural in the American Cultural Center in Kyiv
2015: 1st prize at the Feldman Art Park festival in category “Sculpture”, festival of young Ukrainian artists
2014: Became one of 150 young artists sponsored by Firtash Foundation Charity Fund, got a grant for creation and exposition of personal project 1+1+.
